Top 14 outfit Montpellier are reportedly chasing the signature of DHL Stormers scrumhalf Herschel Jantjies.
A week removed from being linked with All Black scrumhalf Finlay Christie, Joan Caudullo’s squad are now chasing the signature of the Springbok halfback.
According to a report in French media outlet Midi Olympique, the south of France based club would be bringing in Jantjies as a replacement for fellow Springbok Cobus Reinach.
The 34-year-old Reinach has been linked with a move away from the club at the end of the season and has led to the speculation of the club being linked to the two big name nines.
Jantjies who made the last of his 25 Springbok appearances remains a key player for the Stormers at 28-years-old, featuring in the Cape Town sides’ based two matches again Munster and Glasgow.
